The miracle of hearing

Yang’s heart rate slightly increases whenever she hears us, her friends, laughing and giggling like we used to. Even though she’s still unresponsive to light and motor stimulation, I know deep inside her, she wants to spend this new year’s eve celebration with us. We are waiting for you, Yang. We know that you and your family will be able to surpass this great wave in front of you.
