Dreams and Dramas

I’ve started the year right by making plans for myself, career and family. It turned out to be so good especially that I’ve lifted my status as orthopedic nurse trainee/front-desk staff last three weeks ago. It means that if I’m not in the OR assisting in surgeries, I am tasked to receive and schedule patients for their follow ups and consultations. Actually, it is not that hard at all-being OR nurse and front-desk staff. But of course, there are times that patients get irritated and impatient and that’s when things seems rough for me. 

Just this evening, I received a message from Makati Med Nursing department telling me that me and some of my batchmates are going to take the qualifying exam for Competency Enhancement Training for Nurses (CETN). I felt giddy and at the same time anxious about how things will turn out tomorrow. 

So right now, I’m having a dilemma about should I stay or should I go? Should I choose POI or Makati Med? I love POI. I love its people, the environment and the field of specialization per se. But I love Makati Med too. I’d love to have a hospital experience in my dear alma mater. 

So many questions there is to ask. A lot of what if’s, but’s and not’s are longing to be answered. But I’m in it. I’m going to take the exam tomorrow and If I’d pass, that’s when I should think I have to decide.
