Dreams and Dramas

Yesterday, I felt like it was my worst day in the office. You know that feeling when your workmates aren’t satisfied with the way you did your job? Even though they know that you’re having a hard time adjusting because first, they are expecting a lot from you and second, they have their own issues with themselves? Well, I know and I felt that feeling. It sucks. 

First, I was helpless during the morning because my partner is busy doing a procedure with the doctor (they were removing an external fixator which lasted for an hour). So can you imagine me standing there attending to the needs of post-op patients who are in pain, a kid with a broken arm, the panicking parents of that kid, the doctor who will see that kid asking for some supplies, another doctor asking me to assist in the casting, phones ringing and other nurses asking for some favors? It was a real pain in the ass. I kinda felt unproductive because most of them were dismayed. 

Second, I was clueless that our doctors will have a meeting in a restaurant nearby about our anniversary. Unfortunately, nobody in the office informed me about that. So I scheduled patients for an appointment sadly at the same time of their meeting. When the patients got in, they were furious that the doctors won’t be able to meet them. It felt worse because most of them lived in Bulacan, Pampanga and Laguna. 

I really wish to have a smooth day in the office tomorrow.
